About the Role
Global X is a pioneer in thematic investing, and our Legal team is the engine behind our product innovation. We are seeking a high-caliber, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal team to support ETF product launches and maintenance, international distribution and a range of corporate legal matters.
Working closely with attorneys across the Legal team, the Paralegal will play a key operational role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to SEC regulatory filings, contract management and recordkeeping.
We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented paralegal who is eager to grow within Global X’s Legal team. This role offers meaningful exposure to ETF launches, SEC filings, and legal operations, with the opportunity to expand scope and responsibility over time.
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three (3) days per week. Attendance in the office on Tuesdays is mandatory and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
ETF & Regulatory Filings
SEC Filings: Support the preparation, review, and version control of regulatory filings (e.g., N-1A updates, 485BPOS, 497 supplements, and related state filings).
EDGAR Operations: Manage the EDGAR filing process end-to-end (document compilation, formatting, submission and confirmation of acceptance), ensuring 100% accuracy in formatting and confirmation.
Documentation & Quality Control: Draft, proofread, and conduct consistency and version-control reviews of disclosure documents and related materials.
Project Management: Build and maintain high-fidelity filing calendars, status reports, and internal trackers to ensure timely, accurate submissions and adherence to deadlines.
Contract & Agreement Management
Contract Administration: Organize and maintain contract records, including executed agreements, amendments, and restatements.
Contract Review Support: Assist with preliminary review of NDAs and other corporate agreements under attorney supervision.
Execution & Coordination: Prepare documents for execution and coordinate signature collection with internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are
Experience and Core Skills:
1-2 years of paralegal experience within a law firm or in-house legal team supporting investment management, registered funds, or financial services
Experience with ETFs, registered funds, or SEC filings strongly preferred
Experience with SEC filing processes in EDGAR and document management practices
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal team members
Professional judgment, discretion, and reliability in handling sensitive information
Bachelor’s degree (required); a Paralegal Certificate is a plus.
