We are open to Senior and Staff levels, with the final title agreed upon during the process.\nRequirements\n- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.\n- 7+ years of commercial software engineering experience with a primary focus on Python and running production-grade services (excluding internal tools, scripts, or prototype notebooks; Staff candidates are expected to have a longer track record).\n- Extensive production experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF), including shipping, scaling, and troubleshooting complex services (handling high-traffic ORM N+1 queries, transaction boundaries, migrations under load, and custom querysets).\nResponsibilities\n- Build & scale Django services: Design, deploy, and maintain high-load Django and Django REST Framework applications on PostgreSQL, ensuring clean data modeling, robust API design, and schema consistency across multiple domains.\n- Optimize PostgreSQL & manage Auth: Analyze query execution plans, build effective indexes, and tune performance (including time-series via TimescaleDB and spatial queries via PostGIS).
