The role involves monitoring production performance, supporting automated manufacturing systems, driving process improvements, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, quality, throughput, and cycle time.\nEssential Responsibilities include: \nSupport daily semiconductor manufacturing operations to achieve cycle time, throughput, quality, and shipment targets.\nMonitor production performance and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure efficient use of manufacturing processes and equipment.\nSupport and maintain automated manufacturing tools and systems used in production.\nPartner with engineering and industrial engineering teams to support capacity planning and manufacturing optimization.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing projects and process improvement activities.\nEnsure compliance with all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements and standards.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nRequired Qualifications:\nDiploma Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, engineering, or industrial operations environments.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated leadership experience through internships, university projects, student organizations, competitions, or workplace initiatives.\nInterest in continuous improvement, manufacturing optimization, automation, and data-driven decision-making.\nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
