Employees benefit from mentorship, networking, and leadership opportunities that support skill development, career progression, and long-term success.\nSummary of Role:\nThe Assistant Engineer, Process Integration & Yield Engineering, supports semiconductor technology development and manufacturing operations by performing process integration, yield analysis, data mining, and problem-solving activities. The role works closely with process module engineers, device engineers, manufacturing, quality, and failure analysis teams to identify yield detractors, improve process performance, and ensure robust product manufacturability. Comprehensive training and development will be provided.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nSupport process integration and yield engineering activities for technology development and high-volume manufacturing.\nAnalyze yield performance, electrical test data, inline metrology, and defect inspection data to identify yield limiters and process issues.\nPerform data mining and statistical analysis to support root-cause investigations and process optimization.\nAssist in executing Design of Experiments (DOE) and evaluate results to support process improvements.\nMonitor process performance indicators and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation.\nSupport technology characterization, qualification, and release activities.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects to improve yield, quality, cycle time, and cost.\nPrepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for engineering reviews and management updates.\nSupport excursion investigations and corrective/preventive action implementation.\nParticipate in cross-functional problem-solving teams and special engineering projects as assigned.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology or other related engineering disciplines.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior related internship or co-op experience.\nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.\nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.\nBasic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.\nBasic proficiency with engineering software tools such as Excel, JMP, Spotfire, Python, or equivalent analytical tools.\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
