For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nOwns day-to-day execution of assigned custom silicon customer programs, including MIPS-based MCUs and Sensor SoCs, for strategic customers (e.g., automotive Tier-1s). Acts as the primary program execution interface between the customer and GlobalFoundries/MIPS cross-functional teams, ensuring predictable delivery, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction across the full silicon lifecycle.\nThis role is an individual contributor with full program ownership for one or more customer programs but no people-management responsibility.\nEssential Responsibilities\nOwn end-to-end execution of assigned customer-specific silicon programs from early engagement through SOP, volume ramp, and sustaining.\n\nServe as the single point of contact for program execution with the customer, providing clear communication on status, risks, and commitments.\n\nDrive cross-functional coordination across IP, design, verification, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.\n\nDevelop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and risk registers for complex custom products.\n\nProactively identify, manage, and escalate technical, schedule, cost, or supply risks.\n\nSupport change management, including scope changes, milestones updates, and customer change requests.\n\nEnsure programs meet customer delivery, quality, and performance expectations.\n\nCore Competencies\nHands-on customer program execution (custom silicon / SoC)\n\nStrong cross-functional coordination and issue resolution\n\nAutomotive customer engagement and delivery discipline\n\nStructured program planning, tracking, and risk management\n\nClear, concise customer and internal communication\n\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.\n\n15+ years of experience in semiconductors, with exposure to SoC, MCU, or custom silicon programs.\n\nExperience working directly with customers and internal engineering teams across silicon development lifecycles.\n\nStrong execution mindset with ability to operate independently.\n\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
