For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nIntroduction:\nAs part of the IP QA team, you will play a critical role in qualifying and validating semiconductor IP libraries across various technology platforms. You will be responsible for assessing incoming vendor IP deliveries, executing IP quality assurance and PM-IP testing activities, and ensuring compatibility with evolving PDK and process updates. The role requires strong collaboration with external IP providers and internal development teams to resolve technical issues, enhance IP quality, and support successful customer deployment.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nPerform incoming IP QA against a predefined QA checklist and meeting committed cycle time. This includes verifying the IP DK and Silicon deliverables against contract. To issue certificate of approval when QA has passed & certificate of non-conformance when QA has failed \nTo qualify IP merge kit to support customer tape-out \nTo maintain & timely update IP information in IP database and IP Catalog \nDefine comprehensive test case for IP qualification & IP regression \nContinuous improvement in QA methodology and test case suite to ensure high quality of IP to support customer engagement & tape-out. \nAssess and define IP Impact Assessment plan based on PDK update. \nPerform IP Regression (Physical verification DRC/LVS/DFM, PEX extraction and Spice simulation) against predefined passing criteria and meeting committed cycle time. \nConsolidation and review of IP Assessment results. \nChair meeting / review with all stakeholders on impact on the IP and drive to closure \nMaintain and manage IP Regression Database \nSupport scripting and automation to improve work efficiency \nDocumentation of IP technical issues, waiver documents and assessment report. \nSupport customer queries and resolve technical issues related to IP \nMaintain SOP workflow documentation and preparation for audit \nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.\nKnowledge in RTL to GDS flow, Analog simulation \nProficient in layout design and drc/dfm/lvs debugging \nHands-on experience in industry standard CAD tools \nProficient in any scripting & automation languages \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills. \nWell organised and work well within a team environment \nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with tools such as library compiler/Prime-time/VCS\nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. \nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
