Your role will span across existing and new Fabs, improving processes and thereby wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.\nWhat You Will Do\nMaintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager.\nPerform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment \nExecute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness\nTroubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime\nAnalyze and monitor technical charts\nDrive equipment improvement plans and projects\nEnsure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipments and other properties\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements\nWork and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed\nWhat You Will Need\nBachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a wafer fab / Electronics / Electrical industry\nProven ability to identify, assess and solve problems\nPerform Normal / Swing Shift\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
