For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nAs an Engineer-Facilities, you will deliver Facilities operation & engineering services, Chiller / Pump management services, and facilities equipment asset maintenance management to enable manufacturing operations. Typically performing one or more of the above tasks in the capacity of either an individual contributor:\nKey Responsibilities.\nOperates, monitors and maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces facilities mechanical components and systems such as electrical equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), chemical, energy, ultra water & wastewater treatment\nHires and oversees outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers and roofers\nMaintains and secures facilities equipment asset\nDevelops and implements capital improvement projects, such as construction, remodeling, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design and bidding\nConducts periodic inspections of work in progress and advises construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications\nInspects existing facilities and prepares reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs\nOther Responsibilities\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\nAround 3 years of experience in handling facilities on Mechanical Fronts.\nHands-on experience with Chiller and Pumps\nAbility to handle Plumbers & Contractors onsite\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAnalytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
