In addition to supporting and improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment, you'll leverage machine data and analytics to understand equipment behavior, identify performance trends, and drive smarter, data-driven manufacturing decisions.\nCandidates who like dismantling and assembling parts are welcome. Comprehensive training and development will be provided.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nAnalyze equipment and manufacturing data to identify trends, optimize performance, and support predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.\nLeverage AI tools, automation technologies, and digital solutions to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and productivity.\nMonitor key equipment performance metrics and translate complex data into actionable insights and improvement initiatives.\nDrive equipment performance improvements by combining hands-on troubleshooting with data-driven analysis to resolve technical and operational issues. \nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on equipment, automation, and smart manufacturing projects.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, manufacturing efficiency, and technology adoption.\nMaintain equipment knowledge, documentation, and best practices to support sustainable long-term performance.\nEnsure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements and promote a strong safety culture.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nPerform Normal / Swing / Day & Night shift (dependent on project and scope) \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Mechanical Engineering or any related field. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior related internship or co-op experience\nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.\nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. \nStrong data analytics and problem-solving skills\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
