For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nGlobalFoundries is building the next generation of enterprise AI and agentic workflows through the CIO FDE Office. The Full Stack Engineer will partner with business teams, Redpanda FDE engineers, enterprise architects, and application owners to rapidly design, prototype, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered solutions. This role combines application development, API engineering, AI/agent development, cloud integration, data orchestration, and user experience design.\nThe engineer will be part of a small, high-impact pod responsible for incubating new agentic use cases and moving successful solutions into production with appropriate security, observability, governance, and cost controls.\nEssential Responsibilities:\n1. Agent and AI Solution Development\nDesign, build, and deploy enterprise AI agents using Redpanda ADP and related agent frameworks.\nDevelop agent workflows supporting ServiceNow, Workday, Supply Chain, HR, IT Operations, and future enterprise use cases.\nConfigure prompts, tools, MCP integrations, multi-agent workflows, and orchestration patterns.\nAssist with evaluation, testing, observability, telemetry, and operational readiness of deployed agents.\n2. Full Stack Application Development\nBuild modern web applications, dashboards, and user experiences supporting agentic workflows.\nDevelop front-end solutions using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.\nBuild backend services, APIs, middleware, and event-driven integrations.\nCreate reusable application components that accelerate future agent deployments.\n3. API and Enterprise Integration Engineering\nDesign and implement integrations with Enterprise systems working with Application and Integration team\nBuild and maintain MCPs, connectors, API wrappers, and service integrations.\nSupport authentication and authorization patterns including Entra ID, OBO, app registrations, token brokering, and secrets management.\nWork with application owners to assess API readiness, integration feasibility, and production support considerations.\n4. Cloud and Platform Engineering\nDevelop solutions on AWS-based environments including ADP BYOC deployments.\nSupport containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment automation.\nCollaborate with platform, cloud, network, and security teams on scalability and production readiness.\nContribute to reference deployment patterns for agentic workloads and enterprise integrations.\n5. Agentic Use Case Incubation\nParticipate in workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.\nTranslate business processes into agent-enabled workflows and technical implementation plans.\nRapidly prototype, demo, refine, and industrialize solutions.\nContribute reusable patterns, standards, and development methodology across GF.\n6. Collaboration and Technical Leadership\nWork alongside Redpanda FDE engineers, GF business SMEs, enterprise architects, and application teams.\nMentor NCG resources and junior engineers within the pod.\nContribute to architecture decisions, build standards, and reference implementations.\nHelp scale the CIO FDE Office operating model across multiple business domains.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.\n7+ years of software engineering experience.\nExperience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.\nStrong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nUnderstanding of authentication, authorization, APIs, and enterprise security patterns.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI agents, MCP servers, LLM platforms, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Redpanda ADP.\nExperience with Kafka, Redpanda, event-driven architectures, streaming data, or orchestration platforms.\nExperience integrating with ServiceNow APIs, Workday APIs, SAP APIs, or Microsoft Graph.\nExperience creating production-grade AI applications, workflow automation, or agentic systems.\nComfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving incubation environments where requirements evolve through prototyping.\nSuccess Measures - First 12 Months\nDeliver production-ready agentic solutions for priority CIO FDE Office use cases.\n\nBuild reusable MCPs and API integration assets that reduce delivery time for future use cases.\nEstablish repeatable engineering patterns for agent design, testing, deployment, observability, and cost awareness.\nSupport deployments across HR, IT, Supply Chain, and additional business domains.\nImprove GF capability to move emerging technology from idea to production without surprises in risk, security, or cost.\nCore Competencies\nEngineering Capability\nFull stack development, API engineering, integration patterns, cloud services, CI/CD, observability\nBuilds reusable components and reference implementations\nEnterprise Fluency\nUnderstands GF systems of record, security, identity, governance, and production support requirements\nPartners effectively with business SMEs and application owners\nAgentic Mindset\nCan translate workflows into AI agents, MCPs, prompts, tools, controls, and operational runbooks\nBalances speed of incubation with production-grade safety and cost control\nExpected Salary Range\n$104,000.00 - $175,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
