For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nIntroduction:\nWe are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team based in Penang. This role provides accelerated training in a fast-paced work environment, cross-functional working opportunities, mentorship, networking, and leadership opportunities. This Intern will build cost models including should-cost, input cost model, supplier performance ratings, etc. as well as maintaining a database of cost and supply chain related data.\nYour Job:\nSupport analysis in the aspect of cost, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), audit and compliance \nDevelop database to host raw material or factor input indices; update and maintain the data in a timely and accurate manner \nDevelop cost models including modeling of wafer processing costs based on changes to Materials or Equipment costs \nProvide support on supplier profiling, supplier ratings, supplier relationship management activities, and driving actions\nWork on other projects and/or assignments as needed based on aligned timelines and deliverables\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - individual pursuing Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business management, supply chain or related field from an accredited degree program \nGood academic standing - at least 3.0 GPA and above\nFluency in English Language - written & verbal\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior internship or co-op experience in a related domain will be an added advantage\nDemonstrated leadership experience and strong planning & organization skills in school projects, competitions, etc.\nProject management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity\nStrong written and verbal communication skills \nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
