As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives. \nSummary of Role:\nThe Internal Audit Intern will gain hands-on experience evaluating internal controls, understanding business processes, and supporting audit activities across the organization. The intern will work with the Internal Audit team and cross-functional partners to gather and analyze information, document procedures and testing, and learn risk assessment, control frameworks, and audit methodologies. \nEssential Responsibilities include:\nAssist with business-process walkthroughs, document key controls, and support testing of control design and operating effectiveness under the guidance of Internal Audit team members. \nGather, sample, and analyze data to support audit conclusions and help evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements. \nPrepare clear and concise audit workpapers, summarize testing results and observations, and maintain organized documentation supporting audit findings and recommendations. \nCollaborate with Internal Audit team members and cross-functional partners to clarify process details, support audit activities, and participate in team meetings, training, and professional development. \nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship. \nMust have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. \nLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) \nAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior related internship or co-op experience \nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. \nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills \nStrong planning & organizational skills \nCoursework or interest in auditing, accounting, internal controls, SOX, risk management, or process improvement. \nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with exposure to Power BI or other data-analysis tools preferred. \n#InternshipProgramUS \nExpected Salary Range\n$20.00 - $40.00\nExpected Salary Range\n$0.00 - $0.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
