For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role\nGlobalFoundries is seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Engineer to lead the strategy, design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise-scale software delivery infrastructure for complex artificial intelligence, machine learning, and hardware-software co-development environments.\nEssential Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end CI/CD strategy and automation execution for globally distributed software development teams. \nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable automated build, test, release, and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory. \nConfigure CI/CD workflows that interface directly with emulation, simulation, embedded hardware, and hardware-software validation platforms. \nDefine, implement, enforce, and maintain source-code branching and release strategies for complex product release cycles. \nDevelop and maintain containerized, reproducible build environments and test-runner workloads using technologies such as Podman. \nPartner with IT to configure, secure, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows compute servers, compute grids, and shared storage environments, including NFS and CIFS. \nBuild dashboards, metrics, and alerts in Grafana to monitor pipeline health, runner performance, infrastructure utilization, and service reliability. \nCollaborate with software, hardware, verification, validation, and infrastructure teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to modernize build and delivery capabilities.\nOther Responsibilities\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. \nOther duties as assigned by manager. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. \n5-10 years of experience in CI/CD, automation, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering, including a key role in establishing and maintaining infrastructure for software products. \nStrong hands-on experience building reliable, scalable CI/CD pipelines and software distributions using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory. \nStrong programming and scripting skills in Shell, Python, and Groovy. \nDemonstrated experience with source-code management practices and branching strategies for complex development and release workflows. \nExperience creating, deploying, and managing applications and build environments in containers, such as Podman. \nExperience with observability and monitoring tools, such as Grafana. \nExperience with Linux compute clusters or grid schedulers, such as SGE/UGE, SLURM, or LSF. \nExperience supporting both Linux and Windows software development environments. \nFluency in English, written and verbal. \nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. \nExperience integrating CI/CD systems with emulation, simulation, embedded hardware, or hardware-in-the-loop validation environments. \nFamiliarity with at least one machine learning framework or model format, such as ONNX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. \nExperience using AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor, to improve development productivity. \nExperience leading infrastructure modernization or automation initiatives across globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams. \nStrong written and verbal communication, planning, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills. \nAbility to navigate ambiguity, identify scalable solutions, and drive execution across technical and organizational boundaries. \nExpected Salary Range\n$153,000.00 - $265,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
