For more information, visit www.gf.com.\n\nSummary of Role:\nThe Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team provides leadership and technical support on quality and reliability issues to internal and external customers and works closely with the Fab teams to ensure we have robust quality systems and processes to deliver on business commitments. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to drive quality and reliability issues and improvement opportunities to closure. You will also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and other GlobalFoundries Fabs to drive strategic initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nDrive cross-functional teams to address and close all Quality issues raised by clients; contribute to similar in-fab issue resolution \nEffectively communicate status of Quality-related tasks, projects and metrics to upper management, customers, and internal teams \nLead quality meetings with GF internal teams or with customers \nWork across functional teams in Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply and others, both within Fab 9 and across all fabs \nEstablish Standard Work quality-related continuous Improvement activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) \nServe as focal point for bringing the “voice of the customer” to other Fab 9 teams \nPlanning and coordination of customer audits; Follow-up on internal audits CAR closure and ensure effectiveness in corrective actions implemented. \nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. \nOther duties as assigned by manager. \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - Engineering or Technology-related bachelor's degree \nExperience - minimum of 4-5 years of diverse relevant skills (Process Engineering, Tech Development, Reliability, Process Integration) \nExperience in semiconductor manufacturing process and quality systems \nStrong communication skills \nFluency in English Language - both written & verbal \nStrong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs. \nResults oriented and focused on quality of work \nExcellent structured problem-solving skills \nStrong presentation and technical writing skills, as well as verbal communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in engineering / STEM related field\nPrevious audit experience and/ or experience with IATF16949 or VDA6.3 audit standards \nAbility to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams and clients \nProject management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nExpected Salary Range\n$85,000.00 - $146,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
