For more information, visit www.gf.com\nSummary of Role:\nThe Fab9 Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) module is seeking a motivated Principal Engineer to become part of our 200mm Fabricator team, fully on site, at Fab9 in Essex Junction, VT. This Mon-Fri daytime position will sustain, improve, and own existing CVD processes and equipment as well as develop new ones. The ideal candidate will support fabrication of dielectric and conductive films utilizing CVD methods and applicable chemistries.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nCollaborate daily with maintenance technicians, process technicians and peer engineers to meet production demands\nDrives continuous improvement projects with respect to equipment availability, cost reduction, and yield improvement\nSupports or leads cross functional problem solving, involving facilities, maintenance and equipment engineering\nSupports installation and startup of new or retrofit equipment\nMentor and lead lower-level engineering team members\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\nOther duties as assigned by manager / supervisor\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation -Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Materials or related engineering field plus 4-5 years relevant experienceOR Masters degree plus 2-4 years relevant experience OR PhD plus 1-2 years relevant experience\nProblem solving and communication of action plans\nTravel - Up to 10%\nFluency in English Language - both written & verbal\nPhysical Capacity Demands - Ability to lift and carry parts up to 30 lbs.
