For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary:\nWe are looking for a highly experienced and detailed-oriented Principal Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing testing resources to ensure consistent and reliable results for both PDK development and customer testing services by standardizing test methodology and procedure. You will take ownership of managing photonics testing instruments, developing comprehensive test plans and procedures, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborating closely with design engineers, you will help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.\nJob Descriptions:\nLead and manage the testing team by effectively allocating resources, setting priorities, assigning roles and responsibilities.\nDefine testing strategy and develop test plans based on project requirements and timelines.\nEnsure testing resources are budgeted, and testing tools are maintained in optical conditions.\nDriving for new test capability setup, prepare documentation to standardize the new test procedure.\nCollaborate with project team to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance. \nSupport the adaptation of equipment from hands-on process measurement to high-volume automatic manufacturing test platforms.\nSupport the test tool efficiency improvement project through testing automation.\nMentor and train team members to enhance skill development and support professional growth.\nTo perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\nRequired Qualifications:\nA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.\nPractical knowledge and understanding of test instruments for optical and electrical test, understanding of high-speed RF test will be added advantage.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExcellent problems solving skills and good at data review and summary.\nPreferred more than 5 year of hands-on experience in optoelectronics test in laboratory or manufacture line.\nPreferred Good Knowledge in programming, e.g., C/C++, Matlab, Labview, and Python.\nMust have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
