For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nIntroduction:\nDevelopment and validation of BJT, Varactor, Diode, Inductor, Transmission Lines and Resistor DC and RF models. Characterization and model extraction for DC and RF frequencies for devices like BJTs, Varactors, Diodes, Inductor, Transmission Lines and Resistors. Works closely with devices and other modeling engineers to interpret test results and debug device and measurement issues. Collaborate with Lab engineers on device measurements and test structure definitions. Applies knowledge of semiconductor physics and devices to evaluate and analyze test results. Prepare reports summarizing results or making technical recommendations.\nYour Job:\nDevice model extraction for DC and RF frequencies for devices like Diodes, BJTs, Varactors, Inductors, Transmission Lines etc. \nKnowledge of semiconductor device physics and application in understanding device data (Diode, BJT, Varactor, Inductor, MOSFET etc.)\nKnowledge of S-parameters, Y-parameters, Z-parameters, and their application in extracting device models.\nDefinition of test structures and layout as and when necessary.\nInteraction with team to resolve discrepancies in the data, model etc.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nPrepare reports summarizing results and make technical recommendations.\nRequired Qualifications:\nPhD or M.Tech/MS with 0- 4yrs experiences in Electrical Engineering with specialization in the field of Device Modeling, RF modeling or Semiconductor devices\nFluency in English Language - written & verbal \nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of EM tools like EMX, ADS Momentum, HFSS is an advantage\nKnowledge of basic RF like S-parameters, de-embedding etc.\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
