For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nPrincipal Facilities Specialty Gas Engineer reporting to Ryan Neary. Responsible for providing technical leadership in the operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of bulk and specialty gas systems that support semiconductor manufacturing. This includes gas storage, distribution, purification, delivery, and monitoring for high-purity, hazardous, and specialty process gases.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nServing as the primary technical interface between Facilities and manufacturing customers to ensure reliable gas delivery and process support.\nMonitoring system performance, capacity, and reliability to meet current and future manufacturing demands.\nLeading troubleshooting efforts for gas distribution, purification, monitoring, and control systems while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nIdentifying and executing process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, quality, and cost performance.\nSupporting manufacturing operations through process monitoring, equipment performance analysis, and rapid response to system issues.\nDeveloping and maintaining system documentation, engineering standards, operating procedures, and maintenance strategies.\nLeading system modifications, expansions, and capital projects including design reviews, performance analysis, startup support, and commissioning activities.\nApplying sound engineering principles and industry best practices to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of specialty gas systems.\nProviding technical training, mentoring, and operational support to facilities technicians, engineers, and operations personnel.\nEnsuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements related to specialty gas systems and hazardous materials management.\nThis role requires strong technical expertise in bulk and specialty gas distribution systems, gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMBs), gas monitoring systems, purification technologies, pressure control systems, and semiconductor manufacturing support infrastructure.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - BS or MS from an accredited engineering program.\nExperience - 5 years high purity gas experience or related manufacturing environment.\nFluency in English Language - strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication.\nAttention to detail.\nSelf-motivated; able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objectives are aligned and met.\nTeam player; able to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment.\nAbility to support continuous manufacturing operations during “off hours” as required.\nProject management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.\nExpected Salary Range\n$85,000.00 - $146,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
