We are committed to building robust, scalable and reusable verification environments that ensure first-pass silicon success.\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Verification Lead to define and drive the verification strategy for advanced platform products.\nIntroduction\nThe Principal SoC Verification Lead provides technical leadership for verification of complex Smart Analog & Sensor SoCs. The role is responsible for verification strategy, methodology, planning, execution, and signoff across subsystem and full-chip environments. \nThis individual will drive verification quality across processor, accelerator, memory, connectivity, and sensor subsystems while ensuring comprehensive coverage and first-silicon success.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a Verification Lead, you will own or participate in the following:\nDevelopment of chip-level and subsystem-level verification strategies\n\nDefinition of test plans, coverage plans and verification methodologies including UVM\n\nLeadership of verification engineers across internal and external resources\n\nLead verification of interfaces, bus interconnects, DMA engines, memory architectures, security and safety functions, data processing pipelines, peripherals and application use cases\n\nCoordinate subsystem and SoC-level verification activities.\n\nDevelopment of scalable verification infrastructure and automation\n\nCollaboration with architects and designers throughout the development cycle\n\nCross-functional coordination with physical design, emulation and other related engineering teams\n\nOwnership of verification closure and signoff readiness\n\nKey Responsibilities\nVerification Strategy\nDefine verification architecture for complex SoCs.\n\nDevelop verification plans aligned with architecture and product requirements.\n\nEstablish signoff criteria and coverage closure methodology.\n\nEnvironment Development\nLead development of UVM-based verification environments.\n\nDefine reusable verification components and infrastructure.\n\nDrive scalable verification frameworks across multiple SoC programs.\n\nSoC Verification Leadership\nLead verification of:\n\nCPU subsystems\n\nInterconnects\n\nDMA engines\n\nMemory architectures\n\nSecurity and safety functions\n\nSensor data processing pipelines\n\nCoordinate subsystem and SoC-level verification activities.\n\nCoverage & Metrics\nDrive closure of:\n\nFunctional coverage\n\nCode coverage\n\nAssertions\n\nSafety requirements coverage\n\nDefine verification KPIs and dashboards.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nMentor senior verification engineers.\n\nLead reviews and verification signoff decisions.\n\nDrive adoption of advanced verification methodologies.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum BS and 15+ years of relevant industry experience\n\nExtensive experience in UVM-based verification\n\nExperience verifying complex SoCs\n\nExperience building reusable verification environments\n\nExperience defining and tracking coverage metrics\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with emulation and prototyping\n\nExperience with safety and security verification\n\nExperience with performance verification\n\nExperience leading globally distributed teams\n\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
