As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.\nSummary of Role:\nThe Quantum Technology Services team is seeking a Summer 2027 intern to support execution of quantum technology development activities across multiple quantum platforms. Working closely with modality leaders, Quantum AME, and manufacturing engineering teams, the intern will help coordinate development activities, track project execution, and support manufacturing readiness initiatives.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nTrack development lot progress across multiple quantum technology programs. \nCoordinate experiments, split lots, and characterization activities supporting quantum development efforts. \nSupport closure of action items arising from technical reviews and project meetings. \nAssist with execution of customer demonstrations and development milestones. \nInterface with Fab 8 and Fab 9 engineering organizations to support development activities. \nSupport readiness reviews for tools, materials, metrology, and process flows. \nIdentify schedule risks and communicate project status to team stakeholders. \nParticipate in meetings with modality teams, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organizations, and manufacturing groups. \nMaintain execution dashboards and project status reporting tools. \nDocument lessons learned and best practices to support future development programs. \nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline through an accredited degree program during the time of internship. \nMust have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. \nLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) \nAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior related internship or co-op experience. \nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. \nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. \nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nStrong planning & organizational skills. \nHighly organized and action-oriented. \nComfortable working in rapidly evolving research and development environments. \n#InternshipProgramUS\nExpected Salary Range\n$20.00 - $40.00\nExpected Salary Range\n$0.00 - $0.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
