GlobalFoundries' RF Technology Development Organization is looking for an integration engineer with industry experience in developing semiconductor technologies to join our RF team in Essex Junction, VT.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nTechnical leadership and Integration Expertise\nResponsible for leading development, optimization, and qualification of FEOL and BEOL semiconductor devices and processes.\nEstablish integration checkpoints, performance metrics, and technical success criteria.\nEvaluate technology tradeoffs involving performance, manufacturability, reliability, yield, cost, and scalability.\nDrive integration optimization using DOE methodologies, statistical analysis, and yield learning techniques.\nIdentify issues and technical challenges, formulate appropriate experiments to understand root cause and improve processes to meet requirements.\nOwn and drive technical process problem solving.\nCross-functional Execution\nPartner with unit process module engineers, failure analysis and characterization team to improve device performance and yield.\nInteract with internal & external customers and respond to technical queries.\nEstablish new technology design rules, test structures and test methodologies.\nMentorship and Technical Influence\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional development programs.\nInfluence organizational technical direction through expert knowledge and demonstrated execution.\nDrive continuous innovation through the development of novel integration schemes, methodologies, and process improvements to enhance technology competitiveness.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation: Master’s Degree or PhD in Electrical, Materials Science, or other relevant engineering or physical science discipline.\nB.S. + minimum of 11 years of relevant experience\nM.S. + minimum of 8 years of relevant experience\nPh.D. + minimum of 7 years of relevant experience\nYears of Experience: 7+ years in semiconductor processing\nExperience in Silicon or SiGe BiCMOS or RFSOI FEOL or BEOL processing and/or semiconductor process development\nExperience with Cadence or any other layout and simulation tool\nStrong data analysis skills\nFluency in English Language - written & verbal\nAbility to relocate to Essex Junction, VT\nPreferred Qualifications:\n8+ Years of Experience in Silicon or SiGe BiCMOS or RFSOI FEOL or BEOL processing and/or semiconductor process development\nExperience of leading a device or process development project\nUnderstanding of semiconductor device physics, RF device behavior, and RF characterization techniques (e.g., S-parameters) is a plus\nExperience in process optimization, yield enhancement, reliability qualification, and root-cause analysis methodologies\nSelf-motivated, resourceful, energetic, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams\nExperience interfacing with customers and presenting technical results to senior management and external stakeholders\nDemonstrate ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment with minimal supervision\nStrong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs\nDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments\nExpected Salary Range\n$143,000.00 - $247,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
