GlobalFoundries' RF Technology Development Organization is looking for a semiconductor integration engineer to join RF semiconductor technology development team in Malta, NY.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nResponsible for development, optimization, and qualification of FEOL and BEOL semiconductor devices and processes to meet performance, cost and yield requirements\nDesign, electrical characterization and analysis of RF devices including FET, bipolar, diodes and passives.\nConduct theoretical studies or simulations to optimize the device performance and benchmark it against state of the art\nResponsible for the DC and RF characterization and analysis including s-parameter, noise figure and loadpull\nDOE design, execution, and analysis of results.\nPartner with unit process module engineers, failure analysis and characterization team to improve device performance and yield\nOwn and drive technical process problem solving.\nInteract with internal & external customers and respond to technical queries.\nEstablish new technology design rules, test structures and test methodologies.\nInnovate new methods of continuous process/device improvement.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ Years of Experience (or 0-2 Years of experience w/ PhD) in Silicon or SiGe BiCMOS FEOL or BEOL processing and/or semiconductor process development\nEducation - Graduating with Master’s or PhD in Electrical, Materials Science, or other relevant engineering or physical science discipline from an accredited degree program.\nBackground in CMOS device physics, semiconductor processing, and characterization\nStrong data analysis skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written\nMust have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.\nLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in Silicon or SiGe BiCMOS FEOL or BEOL processing and/or semiconductor process development\nExperience in DC and RF device design and characterization including high frequency design, S-parameter measurement and analysis\nExperience with Cadence or any other layout and simulation tool\nPrior related internship or co-op experience.\nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.\nProject management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong planning & organizational skills\nExpected Salary Range\n$85,000.00 - $146,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nThe role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
