For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nThe Fab9 Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process module is seeking a motivated Senior Process Engineer to become part of our 200mm Fabricator team, fully on site, at Fab9 in Essex Junction, VT. This Mon-Fri daytime position will sustain, improve, and own existing CVD processes as well as develop new ones. The ideal candidate will support fabrication of dielectric and conductive films utilizing CVD methods and applicable chemistries.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nOwn and sustain CVD module processes to meet quality, yield, cost, and cycle time objectives.\nDevelop and qualify new CVD processes, tooling, and materials.\nPartner with equipment engineering and maintenance teams to improve process capability and tool performance.\nAnalyze process data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport new technology development and transfer into manufacturing.\nCreate and maintain standard work documentation and training materials.\nCollaborate across manufacturing, integration, characterization, and development teams.\nDrive problem-solving activities to improve yield and operational performance.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs\nOther duties as assigned by manager / supervisor\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or related technical discipline\nExperience: Minimum 2-3 years of semiconductor process engineering or related\nFluency in English Language - both Written & Verbal\nSkills\nApplied knowledge of CVD (preferred)\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead projects, taking initiative to drive solutions to problems\n\nFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing processes & activities such as 5S, Structured problem solving, Value stream mapping, Kaizen teams, etch\n\nStrong planning & organizational skills\nStrong written and oral communication skills\n\nTravel up to 10%\nPreferred Qualifications:\nEducation - Master’s degree in engineering or Material Science\nExperience - 4+ years of relevant semiconductor experience and advanced knowledge of CVD tooling and processes\nSkills\nAdvanced understanding of Lean manufacturing processes & activities such as 5S, Structured problem solving, Value stream mapping, Kaizen teams, TWI (Training within Industry)\n\nUnderstanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment & GlobalFoundries' systems in Essex, VT\n\nProject management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.\n\nExpected Salary Range\n$69,000.00 - $120,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
