For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nMIPS - A GlobalFoundries company is seeking a Design Verification Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our CPU verification team. The successful candidate will work on verification of processor components, focusing on CPU core functionality, coherency, and cache subsystems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced verification methodologies and collaborate with world-class architects and designers.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nPerform functional verification of CPU cores and related subsystems (MMU, Cache, Safety, Debug etc.).\nUnderstand and interpret microarchitectural specifications to develop effective verification strategies.\nDevelop and execute verification plans, including testbench creation and test case development.\nWrite directed and constrained random test cases in SystemVerilog, C, and Assembly.\nArchitect reusable UVM verification environments, utilize them for coverage-driven verification.\nCoordinate simulation, emulation, and formal verification efforts for various DUTs.\nAnalyse coverage reports and assists in closing coverage gaps, Own verification quality metrics, and closure plans.\nAutomate regression and verification flows using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.\nCollaborate with senior engineers and architects to ensure design quality and performance.\nLead small teams and project-wide verification initiatives. Influence verification methodologies across projects.\nundefined\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or master’s JR-2602332degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.\n8-12 years of experience in design verification, preferably in CPU or CPU-based SoC verification.\nHands-on experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, and constrained random verification.\nFamiliarity with CPU architectures such as RISC-V, ARM, or MIPS.\nBasic understanding of cache and coherency concepts.\nStrong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell.\nPreferred Experience\nDeep expertise in UVM, assertions, coverage, and processor architecture.\nExposure to RISC-V architecture, hands-on verification of any of the CPU architectures.\nKnowledge of interconnect protocols like AXI, AHB, ACE, or CHI protocols.\nExperience with FPGA prototyping or emulation platforms.\nNo Recruitment Fee Policy: GlobalFoundries is committed to ethical and transparent hiring practices.
