For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nYour Job: \nDeliver Facilities operation & engineering services, building/office space management services, and facilities equipment asset maintenance management to enable manufacturing operations. Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:\nOperates, monitors and maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces facilities mechanical components and systems such as electrical equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), chemical, energy, ultra water & waste water treatment\nHires and oversees outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers and roofers \nMaintains and secures facilities equipment asset \nDevelops and implements capital improvement projects, such as construction, remodeling, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design and bidding\nConducts periodic inspections of work in progress and advises construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications \nInspects existing facilities and prepares reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering\nAt least 5 years of experience on Mechanical\nExperience in working in Cleanroom environment\nGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
