For more information, visit www.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nGlobalFoundries has a Senior Engineer opportunity at the Malta, NY site for a Production Control & Planning. The role supports production planning, new product introduction execution, and data-driven manufacturing improvements in a high-volume semiconductor environment.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nWork with the Production Control and Planning team to support new product introduction and manufacturing execution initiatives. \nAnalyze production data and develop reporting tools that improve delivery performance and operational decision making. \nCollaborate with Customer Engineering, Integration and Line Control teams to ensure successful product launches and factory readiness. \nLead and support continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence. \nSupport AI & Data driven analytics to initiate key decision making to meet business needs leveraging Microsoft Suite (Cowork, Copilot, PBI, Excel), SQL and Python.\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. \nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited degree program. \nExperience: Minimum 2 years experience in semiconductor industry\nLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) \nTravel - Up to 10% \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior related internship or co-op experience. \nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. \nStrong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. \nProject management skills and the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nStrong planning and organizational skills. \nExperience with data analytics, reporting tools, and manufacturing systems. \nKnowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExpected Salary Range\n$69,000.00 - $120,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
