For more information, visit \nwww.gf.com.\nSummary of Role:\nGlobalFoundries is looking to hire Surface Prep (Wets) Equipment Maintenance Technicians to sustain and run the fab floor with primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are hourly shift positions (nights or days) working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts. GlobalFoundries is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts.\nEssential Responsibilities include:\nMonitor, control, and qualify 200 mm semiconductor equipment\nPerform basic preventive maintenance activities\nReact to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment\nProcess wafers using defined procedures\nPerform visual inspections (quality check)\nRecover from process and tool interruptions\nIdentify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost\nComplete all required reporting and documentation\nUnderstand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements\nActively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning and skills development\nStrong team member, able to work well with a global team, and other duties as assigned\nOther Responsibilities:\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\nOther activities assigned by manager.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation - 2 Year Associates Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Electrical)\nExperience - 18+ months of experience relevant/equivalent military experience\nLanguage Fluency -Fluency in English Language - Written & Verbal\nPhysical Capacity Demands - 12-hour Alternate Work Schedule (Nights or Days)\nExperience in following standard work and procedure to carry out Preventative Maintenance \nCapable of using the proper PPE as needed to perform tasks within the Surface Prep module and follow all safety guidelines\nExperience in working on Long Term Downs (LTD), creating actions plans and executing\nConfirmable working around chemicals and following safety guidelines \nCapable working in a team atmosphere and indivisibly \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance\nExperiences 4+ years on Surface Prep tools (STI, FSI, SEZ, STEAG, DNS, CFM or VIAFORM Cu Plating)\nExperience with use of chemicals and associate use of equipment - Diaphragm pumps, valves, sensors, and controls\nActively participate in continuous improvement projects, learning and skills development\nAbility to read and comprehend schematics / blueprints / electrical diagrams\nBasic understanding of the principles of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.\nExpected Salary Range\n$58,400.00 - $110,300.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at  let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
