The software product patterns are written in a domain-specific scripting language used to describe and model the software BMC Discovery is discovering.\n\n0-1 years of scripting language development skills (Perl, Python, UNIX shell)\n\nOverall work experience of 0-1 years, ideally in 1st or 2nd level Support or Junior System Administrator role, user-level experience in either Linux/UNIX or Windows environments(ideally both UNIX/Linux and Windows)\n\nUnderstanding of software development process and best practices (code clarity, code testing, code quality, unit test, CI/CD)\n\nVery Good to Excellent English language skills, both oral and written\n\nCollaborative and cross-team work experience\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nUnderstanding of UNIX or Windows systems, Cloud technologies\n\nІome experience in writing python scripts\n\nAble to work and meet targets with minimal supervision\n\nTools: Wiki, Confluence, Jira, GIT, etc\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nAnalyze and evaluate software product fingerprint requirements (ex of vendors: Oracle, IBM, Microsoft…)\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software product fingerprints\n\nWrite automation scripts to perform automated tests\n\nDocument knowledge gained for internal use as well as used by our customers.\n\nActively participate in process improvement efforts\n\nDepartment/Project Description\n\nBMC Helix helps leading companies around the world put technology at the forefront of business transformation, improving the delivery and consumption of digital services.\n\nHelix Discovery is a foundational component of the BMC Helix suite of enterprise solutions.\n\nThis role is to join the R&D team responsible for building and maintaining the BMC Discovery product.\n\nAbout the team: We are at R&D team within BMC Helix, based in UK, France and Ukraine.
