Job Description :
We are looking for a Jasper Developer with strong Data Engineering experience and 5+ years of overall experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with JasperReports/Jaspersoft, SQL, databases, ETL, and data pipelines.
Job Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain JasperReports and Jaspersoft reports.
- Create complex reports, templates, subreports, parameters, and data sources.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting requirements.
- Work on ETL processes and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics.
- Troubleshoot report, database, and data pipeline issues.
- Optimize report and query performance.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers, and clients to understand requirements.
- Support report testing, deployment, maintenance, and production issues.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of reporting data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in JasperReports/Jaspersoft and Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with JasperReports and Jaspersoft Studio.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, complex queries, and stored procedures.
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, data transformation, and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Good understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts.
- Experience with Java is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Python, Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
- Knowledge of BI and analytics tools.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
