Order management\n\nii. Inventory\n\niii. Warehousing\n\niv. Receiving\n\nv. Picking and packing\n\nvi. Shipping\n\nvii. Distribution\n\nviii. Transportation and logistics\n\n- Provide architectural guidance for legacy IBM i / AS/400 environments, including modernization and integration considerations.\n\n- Define interface patterns, data flows, batch-processing strategies, error handling, reconciliation, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms.\n\n- Provide technical leadership to developers and ensure adherence to architecture, engineering, and operational standards.\n\n- Lead root-cause analysis for complex issues spanning JDE, MIF, WMi, databases, batch jobs, and downstream systems.\n\n- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, performance improvement, and modernization.\n\n- Work closely with supply-chain business teams, infrastructure, ERP, WMS, integration, and operations stakeholders.\n\n- Ensure solutions are resilient, secure, scalable, and operationally supportable.\n\nRequired Experience :\n\n- 10+ years of enterprise application and supply-chain technology experience.\n\n- Strong architectural and hands-on experience with JD Edwards running on IBM AS/400 / IBM i.\n\n- Strong understanding of IBM i / AS/400 environments, including :\n\ni. DB2 for i\n\nii. Batch processing\n\niii. Job scheduling\n\niv. File-based interfaces\n\nv.
