are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a project focused on financial documentation and document processing solutions within the insurance domain.\n\nYou will work on the development and evolution of reliable, scalable backend services, collaborating with an experienced international engineering team and business stakeholders.\n\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of professional experience in Java development.\n\nStrong knowledge of Java 17+.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot.\n\nSolid experience developing REST APIs and microservices.\n\nStrong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code.\n\nGood knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.\n\nExperience with Kafka or other messaging working with Docker and preferably Kubernetes.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of assigned areas.\n\nUpper-Intermediate or higher English.\n\nKnowledge of security and compliance requirements in financial services.\n\nJob responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality Java backend applications and services.\n\nImplement new features and enhancements based on business and technical requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.\n\nParticipate in technical design and contribute to architectural decisions.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.\n\nPerform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.\n\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical and production issues.\n\nWork with databases, messaging systems, and external integrations.\n\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other developers.\n\nContribute to system performance, reliability, security, and scalability improvements.\n\nParticipate in CI/CD, deployment, and production support
