The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing processes, test case creation, and defect management. While the primary responsibility will be manual testing, experience or familiarity with Playwright automation tools is highly desirable.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n3-5 years of experience in manual testing.\n\nStrong knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.\n\nStrong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.\n\nExperience with test case management tools.\n\nFamiliarity with bug tracking systems like Azure Devops.\n\nExposure to testing web-based and desktop applications.\n\nProduct testing.\n\nPreferred Skills (Nice to Have):\n\nExperience or working knowledge of Playwright automation framework.\n\nBasic scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (or any language used in Playwright).\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.\n\nFamiliarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.\n\nSoft Skills:\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nProactive, detail-oriented, and organized.\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n\nJob responsibilities\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.\n\nPerform various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke testing.\n\nIdentify, report, and track bugs using tools like Azure DevOps.\n\nCollaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.\n\nEnsure test coverage and quality metrics are met.\n\nContribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.\n\nWork alongside automation engineers; optionally assist in creating scripts using Playwright.\n\nWhat we offer\n\nExciting Projects: We focus on industries like High-Tech, communication, media, healthcare, retail and telecom.
