For more information visit www.globalstep.com.\n\nPurpose\n\nThe Cyber Security Analyst will play a critical role in protecting Client's IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments from evolving threats. This position requires an experienced and solution-oriented professional who can not only identify risks but also design and recommend practical security measures aligned with business objectives.\n\nYou will work collaboratively across IT, digital engineering, and operations to strengthen our cybersecurity posture, implement best practices, and respond to incidents effectively.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nThreat Detection & Incident Response\n\nMonitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM tools.\n\nLead investigations into incidents, ensuring timely containment, eradication, and recovery.\n\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\nDevelop and maintain playbooks for incident response and escalation.\n\nVulnerability & Risk Management\n\nConduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management activities.\n\nEvaluate emerging threats, assess business impact, and propose mitigation strategies.\n\nSupport risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).\n\nSecurity Solutions & Architecture\n\nProvide expert guidance on security design, architecture, and control implementation.\n\nRecommend and evaluate tools and technologies for endpoint, network, and cloud protection.\n\nWork closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure security is built into all projects.\n\nGovernance, Compliance & Awareness\n\nMaintain and enhance security policies, standards, and procedures.\n\nSupport cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives across the organization.\n\nCollaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.\n\nOperational Technology (OT) & Industrial Security\n\nPartner with engineering and operations to secure OT environments, including SCADA and ICS systems.\n\nDevelop and implement strategies for protecting connected assets and equipment telemetry.\n\nQualifications & Skills:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.\n\n2 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in industrial or enterprise environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of:SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)\nEndpoint detection and response (EDR)\nNetwork and cloud security (Azure, AWS)\nIncident response and threat intelligence\nOT/ICS security principles (a strong plus)\n\nRelevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GIAC).\n\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProven ability to advise leadership and translate technical security insights into business solutions.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile\n\nAn experienced cybersecurity professional who will play a critical role in protecting Client's IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments from evolving threats.
