In this role, you will own the language of everyday banking moments-from account opening and card management to instant payments, personal loans, and customer support.\nEmbedded directly in cross-functional agile product squads, you will work alongside UX/UI designers, product managers, developers, and compliance partners to craft clear, compliant, and intuitive microcopy that drives product adoption and reduces customer friction.\nKey Responsibilities\nUser Journey & Product Microcopy: Write and refine UI copy across core retail banking journeys (eKYC & onboarding, CASA accounts, credit/debit cards, payments & remittances, loans, and Islamic banking products).\n\nFriction-Free Interaction Design: Craft high-converting CTAs, labels, form guidance, empty states, error messages, transactional notifications, and contextual in-app guidance.\n\nPlain Language Disclosures: Translate complex banking jargon, interest/profit rates, fees, eligibility rules, and regulatory requirements into simple, transparent language.\n\nContent Systems & Governance: Develop and maintain the bank’s voice and tone guidelines, content design patterns, and bilingual banking glossaries within our design system.\n\nBilingual & Localization Parity: Partner closely with Arabic localization teams to ensure English and Arabic experiences match seamlessly in tone, intent, and Right-to-Left (RTL) visual quality.\n\nAgile Squad Collaboration: Work day-to-day in Figma, Jira, and Confluence; collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Shariah teams to secure efficient sign-offs without compromising user experience.\n\nData-Informed Iteration: Use analytics, usability testing, and customer feedback loops to identify content drop-off points and continuously optimize user completion rates.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or product content strategy.\n\n3+ years of experience in financial services (Retail Banking in the UAE/GCC market strongly preferred).\n\nDeep understanding of regional retail banking products (CASA, Cards, Lending, Payments/Remittances, and Islamic banking equivalents).\n\nSolid understanding of the UAE regulatory landscape, including UAE PASS / Emirates ID onboarding flows and Central Bank consumer protection guidelines.\n\nHands-on experience working directly inside Figma and collaborating in Jira/Confluence.\n\nA strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX writing process, before/after copy iterations, user journey flows, and measurable outcomes.\n\nExcellent written and spoken English with exceptional attention to detail.\n\nNice to Have:\nSpoken or written Arabic proficiency, or proven experience shipping bilingual English-Arabic digital products.\n\nExperience in conversational design, chatbots, or AI-powered virtual assistant workflows.\n\nExperience building or scaling content design systems within an enterprise setting.\n\nThis job can be filled in Dubai/Abu Dhabi.\nCreate with us digital products that people love.
