This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead solution design for complex APIs and integrations across the PWS platform\nDefine technical standards, service boundaries, API contracts, data flows, and integration patterns\nGuide application design across Java/Spring, REST, event-driven, and containerized environments\nRefine epics and stories with Product, BA, Development, and QA partners, identifying dependencies, risks, and non-functional requirements\nReview code for design quality, maintainability, performance, reliability, and testing\nBuild prototypes or production code when needed to validate designs or unblock delivery\nAlign teams on shared contracts, dependencies, and technical decisions\nImprove platform quality including observability, resilience, performance, and productio support\nMentor engineers and technical leads through design guidance and code review\n8+ years of software engineering experience, including enterprise API delivery and 3+ years in a Solution Architect, Software Architect, Lead Developer, Principal Engineer, or\ncomparable technical leadership role\nHands-on experience with Java, Spring, RESTful services, and distributed systems\nStrong hands-on experience with: Java,Spring / Spring Boot,RESTful APIs, Distributed systems,API integrations\nStrong understanding of: •API contracts and design,API versioning,Backward compatibility,Error handling, Idempotency,Event-driven integration patterns\nDeep technical knowledge of API contracts, versioning, compatibility, error handling,idempotency, and event-driven integration\nCloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud-hosted, containerized applications, CI/CD,Observability, resilience, and automated testing\nArchitecture translation: Ability to turn high-level requirements into practical architecture and buildable technical work\nCode review & coaching: Experience reviewing production code and coaching developers through actionable feedback\nLeadership & communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to drive decisions across teams without direct authority\nExperience in AWS preferred or any cloud experience\nExperience in Copilot\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting multiple API teams or a shared enterprise platform\n\nBackground in financial services, retirement services, or another regulated industry\n\nExperience modernizing legacy systems or applying domain-driven design\n\nFamiliarity with API management, service security, and identity patterns\n\nExperience establishing engineering standards and reusable platform patterns\n\nStrong production troubleshooting skills using logs, metrics, and tracing\n\nThis job can be filled in location - Pune #LI-Hybrid\nCreate with us digital products that people love.
