This role is responsible for providing detailed technical solutions, conducting network analysis, and ensuring that OSP designs and deployments align with operational and business objectives.OSP Network Design and Analysis:\nProvides the detailed planning and design of OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure, focusing on the transport core network.\n\nAnalyze network requirements and provide technical solutions that optimize the design and performance of fiber optics, aerial, and underground networks.\n\nProject Implementation Support:\nContribute to the execution of OSP infrastructure projects, ensuring designs are translated into effective, on-the-ground deployments.\n\nMonitor project progress and work with the project management team to ensure timelines and milestones are met.\n\nNetwork Performance Evaluation:\nConduct performance assessments and network audits, identifying bottlenecks, potential risks, and areas for improvement within the core OSP network.\n\nPropose and implement solutions for network enhancements, focusing on reliability, scalability, and future-proofing the infrastructure.\n\nCollaboration with Cross-functional Teams:\nWork closely with Operations, Engineering, and Vendor teams to align project execution with network requirements.\n\nFacilitate coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions meet business and operational goals.\n\nCompliance and Standards Adherence:\nEnsure that all OSP projects comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.\n\nSupport the development and enforcement of technical guidelines and best practices for OSP network deployments.\n\nTechnical Documentation and Reporting:\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, network maps, and performance reports.\n\nProvide regular updates to the Head of Transport Core OSP Planning and Engineering on project progress, risks, and solutions.\n\nSupport in Fortification Projects:\nAssist in the fortification of aerial-to-underground cable transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to network operations and alignment with core network goals.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nGlobe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants, Any form of discrimination is not tolerated throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including the hiring process such as in posting vacancies, selecting, and interviewing applicants.\nGlobe’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy Commitment can be accessed here\nMake Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
