Key responsibilities include developing and executing test strategies, identifying and tracking defects, implementing quality improvements, and collaborating with development teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The role often requires expertise in automation tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Allure Report, Jira/XRay, as well as CI/CD tools such as GitLab.Testing & Quality Assurance:\nDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.\nAutomation:\nUtilize automation frameworks and tools, reports (e.g., Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Allure Report, Jira/XRay) to create automated test scripts for efficient testing processes.\nSDLC Integration:\nIntegrate quality assurance principles into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and champion shift-left testing.\nDefect Management:\nIdentify, document, and track software defects, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide quality insights to stakeholders.\nCollaboration:\nWork with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end quality and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQuality Improvement:\nContribute to quality initiatives, follow quality and security standards, and ensure product reliability.\nRequired Skills & Tools:\nExperience: At least 8 to 10 years experience in Quality Test Automation\n\nQA Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA methodologies and strategy development.\n\nAutomation Expertise: Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Allure Report, Appium, WebdriverIO, LambdaTest, K6, etc.,\n\nCI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.\n\nProgramming Languages: Skill in Typescript or JavaScript for test scripting and development.\n\nCloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, GCP.\n\nPerformance & Security Tools: Experience with Artillery, K6 for performance and security testing.\n\nSoft Skills: Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.\n\nWork arrangement: hybrid setup (3x onsite / 2x offsite every week)\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nGlobe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants, Any form of discrimination is not tolerated throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including the hiring process such as in posting vacancies, selecting, and interviewing applicants.\nGlobe’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy Commitment can be accessed here\nMake Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
