Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.\nPosition Summary:\nAs a Manufacturing Specialist Technician, you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.\nEssential Functions:\nPerforms duties associated with production (milling or turning), including set-up and changeovers\nServe as technical subject matter expert within cell on relevant machinery/processes\nWorks with Engineers and Programmers to conduct tool tests, First Article Inspection (FAI)s, process improvements, optimal sequences\nTrains production operators to maintain functioning cross-training matrix\nCalibrates and maintains gauge schedule to ensure consistency and efficient productivity of machines\nTroubleshoots and repairs machinery problems as authorized\nSupports tasks associated with establishing priorities and monitoring the cell output\nSupports new product development\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nQualifications:\nProficient understanding in programs and set-ups for medium to difficult programs\nAbility to start machine controls and G&M code programming\nTypically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience\nRequires High school diploma or GED\nPreferred completion of a Technical certificate in Machining\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job\n· Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\n· Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds\n· Required to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus\nOur Values:\nOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.\nPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
