We are constantly in pursuit of better patient care and understand that speed is critical because life cannot wait.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Grinding Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Grinding machines. This effort includes, but is not limited to, ensuring parts meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing. This individual works with the entire department to ensure parts are made up to company standards.\nEssential Functions:\nMeasures, inspects, loads/unloads parts from Grinding machine \nImplements dimensional adjustments (offsets) as needed and as instructed\nAccurately completes all quality control documentation and inspection sheets\nInspects products in accordance to all verbal and/or written instructions such as part drawings, traveler, work instructions, and process specifications\nEmbraces Good Manufacturing Practices and inspection techniques each day; following all SOPs and safety regulations\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nStrong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude\nAble to perform visual inspection with the use of a microscope on small parts; strong attention to detail\nIntermediate Math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas a plus\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAttention to detail\nSelf-starter\nAdvanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills\nProficiency in using Microsoft Office products\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\nRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.\nOur Values:\nOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.\nPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
