We are constantly in pursuit of better patient care and understand that speed is critical because life cannot wait.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Production Assistant is responsible for providing manufacturing process support for Anodizing department. This effort includes, but is not limited to, visually inspecting anodized, ultrasonic cleaned, and passivation parts. This individual works with other production assistants and manager to ensure parts are anodized correctly to be assembled and shipped out.\nEssential Functions:\nAnodizes, Electro-polishes, Ultrasonic Cleaning and Passivation of parts\nRacks and un-racks the parts\nDries off parts with compressed air\nUnpacks and packs finished products\nVisually inspects own work\nVerifies incoming/outgoing product counts\nFollows verbal and written instructions such as blueprints, travelers, SOP's\nGeneral and periodic maintenance of the above-mentioned processing lines\nGeneral housekeeping of shop area\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMust be able to stand for extended periods of time\nMust be able to work diligently around chemicals\nMust be able to perform basic arithmetic\nTo work under the directions of the production supervisor\nMust be able to lift 40 lbs\nMust be able to pass an eye exam including a color-blind test\nWillingness and commitment to wear PPE regularly, including:\nSafety goggles while on the shop floor\nChemical resistant gloves while changing chemicals\nLong sleeved chemical resistant gloves while changing chemicals\nChemical resistant safety aprons while working on the shop floor\nAppropriately fitted respirator masks while changing chemicals\nExperience with plating or finishing processes is a plus\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAttention to detail\nSelf-starter\nAdvanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills\nProficiency in using Microsoft Office products\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nRequired to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.\nOur Values:\nOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.\nPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
