Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.\n\nJob Description\nPosition Summary:\nThe Quality Control Inspector performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. Assists with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.\nEssential Functions:\nPerforms First Article inspections, final inspection and testing of key units, and inspects all labeling and packaging of finished products\nEnsures consistent application of quality procedures and processes necessary for successful and compliant inspection of product\nInspects devices and identifies non-conforming material\nCleans and inspects tray systems upon receipt from the field\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nQualifications:\n2+ years' experience in a regulated environment preferred\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nAA in a technical field preferred\nSolid written and oral communication skills\nGood organization and documentation skills\nAble to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment\nBasic proficiency in ASME Y14.5M and blueprint reading\nPerform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485\nTravel and/or Physical Demands:\nRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\nRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds\nRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus\nOur Values:\nOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.\nPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
