This is a hands-on role where you will design and implement modular, scalable mobile solutions using Compose Multiplatform and Kotlin Multiplatform, optimized for code sharing across Android and iOS.\nEssential Functions:\nChampion Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and test-driven development, ensuring our apps meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance. In addition to mobile development, you will also maintain and enhance our existing Windows-based programmer application, ensuring stability and compliance with regulatory standards. If you are passionate about building elegant solutions that make a real difference in patients’ lives, this is your opportunity.\n\nPerform technical design and development of mobile features for Android and iOS using Compose Multiplatform and Kotlin Multiplatform.\n\nDrive adherence to Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and test-first development practices (TDD, BDD with Gherkin).\n\nCollaborate with backend engineers to design and refine APIs for secure, efficient data exchange.\n\nImplement and maintain automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Compose UI Testing, XCTest) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.\n\nWork closely with UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver human-centered, high-quality solutions.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and pair programming to foster a culture of engineering excellence.\n\nEnsure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, IEC 62304) and own to documentation for Class III medical devices.\n\nInstrument apps with analytics to monitor adoption and inform product decisions.\n\nCollaborate closely with systems, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless system integration.\n\nMaintain and enhance the existing Windows-based programmer application.\n\nContribute to verification and validation strategy and execution for software subsystems.\n\nWork with team members and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of Nevro’s digital ecosystem.\n\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.\n\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.\n\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in mobile application development (Android/iOS).\n\nExperience in a regulated industry; medical device experience strongly preferred.\n\nStrong proficiency in Kotlin, Compose Multiplatform, and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, modular design).\n\nSolid understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and test design best practices.\n\nExperience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Koin) and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nFamiliarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration.\n\nExperience in C#, .NET development (Visual Studio, C#, .NET).\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills and ability to lead technical discussions.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.\n\nMostly self-directed. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
