Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.\nPosition Summary:\nOur rapidly growing medical robotics division is searching for enthusiastic electrical engineers wanting to make a difference. Our engineers develop medical robots by working with top surgeons and a cross-functional engineering team. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining electrical designs. The position will be a hands-on one with the individual capable of creative and systematic product development with minimum supervision.\nEssential Functions:\nDesigns, develops, and debugs FPGA electrical circuits and hardware based on requirements\n\nManages component selection, schematics, and layouts in Altium\n\nInterfaces with PCB designers to complete circuit board layouts and documentation packages\n\nDevelops test fixtures and procedures to evaluate hardware\n\nMaintains compliance with industry standards such as IEC 60601\n\nAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies\n\nEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role\n\nRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of electrical engineering experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience\n\nExperience with FPGA\n\nFamiliarity with common communication interfaces including USB, Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, I2C, LVDS, etc\n\nFamiliarity with image sensors and ultrasound transducers\n\nExperience with PCB development including schematic, layout, and debugging\n\nExperience with designing and testing for EMC and EMI\n\nExperience with IEC 60601 along with NRTL testing\n\nExperience in analog and digital circuit design including signal processing, a/d, d/a, power, and firmware design in C and Verilog\n\nExperience with schematic capture software such as Altium\n\nExperience with circuit modelling software such as PSpice\n\nProficient with electrical test equipment; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.\n\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications\n\nAbility to travel up to 10% of the time\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nRequired to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\n\nRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds\n\nRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.\n\nOur Values:\nOur Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.\nPassionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
