The Production Support Engineer partners closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and other internal stakeholders to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain, collect, and report production quality documentation and records.\nProvide frontline technical support to production teams by troubleshooting and analyzing electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.\nImplement, maintain, and regulate production support tools and required test equipment.\nAnalyze in-house production failures and determine root causes; develop and implement corrective actions.\nInvestigate production-related installation failures and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including housekeeping principles, tooling enhancements, line layout optimization, and procedure updates.\nEnsure ergonomic and workplace safety considerations are incorporated into tools, equipment, and manufacturing methods.\nSupport and promote compliance with ISO, UL, OSHA, and other applicable standards and regulations.\nConduct process audits and work with inspectors and internal teams to implement and monitor safe work practices.\nSupport quality and production training initiatives for employees.\nAssist with transferring product lines, supplier evaluations, and manufacturing improvement projects as needed.\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum one year of related manufacturing, production support, quality, or engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong troubleshooting skills related to electro-mechanical products, systems, and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to interpret technical instructions, schematics, drawings, and diagrams.\nWorking knowledge of quality standards, manufacturing best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nUnderstanding of ISO, UL, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.\nAbility to utilize hand tools, power tools, and production test equipment.\nAbility to work with basic math, engineering principles, and data analysis techniques.\nProfessional Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with leadership, employees, suppliers, and third-party partners.\nStrong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong computer skills and attention to detail.\nPhysical & Travel Requirements\nAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environment and comply with all company safety rules and regulations.\nOccasional domestic and international travel may be required for product transfers, training, supplier audits, process improvement activities, and visits to other Glory facilities.\n\nJob Benefits\n\nPay Range: $57,000-$72,000, Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; education; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.\n\nGlory is proud to share that our benefit package ranks in the top 25% across the country!\n\nBenefits:\n\n401(k) Retirement Plan with Fidelity - 2.5% Base contribution paid toward your retirement by Glory even if you do not participate.
