This role ensures the reliability of testing infrastructure and vehicles which is critical for advancing the engineering development program. Working closely with engineering teams, technicians are expected to troubleshoot complex problems and maintain systems that drive the rapid evolution of autonomous technology.\nThis is an in-person position in Atlanta, GA and will start as a one year contract. The role will start with an in-person 4-6 week training in Richmond, CA\nResponsibilities\nSupport and track various configurations and generations of test platforms\nUse lab tools such as soldering irons, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.\nIntegrate network and vehicle system components into server racks\nAssemble custom hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware and equipment\nBuild cable harnesses based on schematics and drawings\nOccasionally move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance\nCollaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex hardware and software issues\nAssist with engineering/marketing demos, including system preparation, transport, setup, and technical support\nCreate and manage tickets in various ticketing systems to track issues, incidents, hardware changes, and performed work\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams for parts receiving, installations, upgrades, and decommissioning efforts\nRequirements\nProficiency with general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering iron)\nExperience in building, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computers, PCBs, and related systems\nStrong organizational and documentation skills\nAbility to lift and carry 25-50 lb boxes\nAbility to crouch, bend, or work in low-clearance areas for wiring tasks\nExperience in building cable harnesses and managing cable routing\nWorking knowledge of computer and networking hardware\nFamiliarity with automotive mechanical and electrical systems (OEM or equivalent)\nOccasional work travel may be required\nNice-to-haves\nExperience with Google suite, Fleetio, JIRA, Confluence or similar programs.\nKnowledge of network equipment setup and diagnosis.\nExperience in running scripts and working with Linux based systems.\nExperience working on fully electric vehicle systems and HV training.\nExperience driving trucks and trailers.\nB.S. in
