The person in this role is also responsible for continuous monitoring and optimization of the cloud implementation for efficiencies and continuous support of, and collaboration with, other teams and projects, particularly DevOps, platform, and automation teams. The person in this role must be a highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious individual who is passionate about forming and implementing cutting-edge cloud computing capabilities.\nBuild secure cloud solutions in major public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services \nCollaborate with product owners and managers to establish service level objectives for applications and agreed consequences if the objectives are not being met \nCollaborate with development team members to swarm, troubleshoot, and resolve problems that may exist in cloud-hosted environments. \nAbility to work independently on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously \nExcellent oral and written communication skills \nOrganizational and time management skills \n Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related major with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. \nMust possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. \nJunior or Senior classification preferred. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. \nStrong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. \nMust be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. \nMust be able to work independently or in a team setting. \nPrevious internships are considered a plus. \nCandidates should demonstrate:\nAbility to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work\nSkills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias\nExperience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection\nAI Skills Preferred\nExperience with AI-assisted software development or automation\nKnowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality\nAwareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations\nPost role externally only, Handshake posting information to follow\n\nGM FINANCIAL DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
