Here we do more than work - we thrive.\nCompensation: Competitive pay\nWork Life Balance: Flexible hybrid work environment, 3-days a week in office\n Assist with the development and maintenance of operational reporting and analysis to support business needs and decision-making.\nAnalyze operational data, trends, processes, and performance metrics to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport scheduled and ad hoc reporting and data requests for business partners.\nConduct data and business analysis using data mining, spreadsheet, and reporting tools.\nApply data analysis and validation practices to help ensure reporting is accurate and reliable.\nAssist with projects supporting new reporting, analytics, and process-improvement initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant data and information resources.\nAnalyze current business processes and help identify opportunities for increased efficiency or improved performance.\nSummarize findings and develop clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.\nPrepare reports, presentations, and analytical materials to communicate findings to team members and business leaders.\nMaintain status on assigned projects and proactively communicate progress, risks, and needs to the team.\nCollaborate with business partners and team members on analytical projects and information requests.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nConform with all company policies and procedures\n Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with at least one semester remaining upon the start of the internship.\n\nPreferred majors: Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.\n\nJunior or Senior classification preferred.\n\nExposure to Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, or other reporting/data-analysis tools preferred\n\nStrong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate findings and present information clearly.\n\nDetail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nCandidates should demonstrate:\nAbility to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work\nSkills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias\nExperience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection\n\nGM FINANCIAL DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
