This role leads product prioritization, manages the initiative backlog, identifies and mitigates delivery risks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance, enhance user experiences, and ensure successful execution of strategic objectives.\nIn this role you will:\nUnderstand and execute on the vision, strategic priorities and goals of Dealer Originations, translating them into a roadmap of capabilities and enhancements that provide measurable business value\nContribute to successful, continuous and on time delivery of product capabilities, by identifying risks and developing and recommending mitigation strategies\nLead the backlog of initiatives, aligning experiences across teams and touchpoints to ensure the best business results\nTroubleshoot and research issues related to risk, dependencies, behaviors, or performance to identify what is impacting delivery and determine how to address\nEstablish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of Dealer Origination strategies through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadership\nLead the prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results\nParticipate in the planning of the future direction of Dealer Originations delivery strategy and features by combining business needs and insights with customer feedback to establish delivery roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership and key stakeholders\nIdentify optimization opportunities for continuous product improvement\nInfluence, nurture, and lead a team of direct-report team members charged with implementing the product roadmap\nPerform other duties as assigned\nConform with all corporate policies and procedures\nWhat makes you an Ideal candidate?\nDeep understanding of and experience in product management / ownership, software product lifecycle, road mapping, and agile methodologies\nExperience working with delivery teams and collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, etc.\nA proven track record of project execution, completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights\nExceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skills\nAbility to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performance\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to synthesize analytic results into relevant and strategic recommendations\nAbility to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level\nExcellent oral/written communication skills\nExcellent persuasive and negotiation skills\nExcellent presentation skills\nExcellent skills creating and managing a roadmap of features and enhancements\nAdditional Knowledge and Skills\nWorking effectively within an AI enabled environment:\nAbility to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work\nSkills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias\nExperience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights\nFamiliarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection \nWork Experience & Education\nAgile Certifications required\n4-6 years' experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile team required\nExperience leading others through influence preferred\nBachelor’s Degree or additional equivalent experience required\nWhat We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.\nOur Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture.
