You will provide quality customer service by satisfying the business needs of the dealers, manufacturer partners, and GM Financial. You are expected to deliver results as an F&I expert and trusted advisor to generate contracts through product knowledge, industry knowledge, and training demonstrations.You will become an integral part of the value we bring to our GM dealers, as we provide real world retail experience and training from automotive professionals like you!\nIn this role you will:\nProvide tailored F&I training for dealers in collaboration with field account representatives on GM Protection products, menu & interview process, and systems.\n\nSupport new dealership launches, new F&I Manager training, service claims processes, overcoming objections, and business development.\n\nMaintain effective communication with dealers and appropriate internal partners.\n\nBe self-motivated with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively to drive change.\n\nBe mobile as this role is fully remote and may travel up to 90% of the time to dealership training assignments.\n\n What makes you an ideal candidate?\nIn-dealership one-on-one observation, role plays, and menu training\n\nModel and refine GM Financial F&I sales process with dealer and customers to increase effectiveness, compliance, and demonstrate profit potential and customer satisfaction\n\nProvide guidance on effective turnover processes between Sales and F&I, customer interview, menu presentation, and closing techniques\n\nTrain Finance departments on protection products as necessary\n\nMaintain effective communication with appropriate internal partners and positive relationships within all areas of the dealership\n\nDemonstrate best practices of available reporting tools and dealer-facing systems (without working in dealer systems, printing documents, or customer signatures)\n\nCollaborate with the dealer's assigned Account Manager - Protection to achieve key performance criteria, incorporating upfront expectations, meeting dealership objectives, and communicating ongoing progress, successes, challenges, and opportunities\n\nComplete daily and weekly progress reports, utilize the internal CRM system, and communicate with Strategic Sales leadership\n\nPromote a culture of teamwork, excellence, and integrity\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nConform with all company policies and procedures\n\nLong-term mobility is beneficial for career development and advancement within the sales organization at GM Financial\n\nExperience:\nBachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, or extensive relevant experience preferred\n\nIn-dealership F&I experience strongly preferred\n\nA proven track record of quality sales performance and client satisfaction preferred\n\nCandidates should demonstrate:\nAbility to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work\n\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection\n\nWorking Conditions:\n90% travel required within the contiguous United States, with the rare but possible need for weekend travel\n\nOngoing mobility with willingness to relocate preferred\n\nResponding to dealer communications outside of normal business hours\n\nMust be able to operate a motor vehicle (company or rental) for traveling from one work location to another access to a major airport\n\nThe base salary for this role is: USD $90,000 to $95,000\nAt GM Financial, we strive for equality in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience and education.\nThis role is eligible to participate in performance-based incentive plans.
