In this mission-critical position, you'll develop and optimize programs for high-precision machining of complex components, utilizing the latest CAM software and CNC technologies. Based at our state-of-the-art facility, you'll play a key role in enabling the production of performance parts that power our high-spec propulsion systems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.\n Key Responsibilities\nProgram CNC manufacturing equipment to manufacture components to the absolute highest quality standards. \nCandidate will be responsible for creating tool lists, in-process documentation, and general set-up sheets to assist technicians in getting jobs running effectively.\nWork closely with the quality inspection group to make machine adjustments as needed to bring parts into spec.\nMaintain meticulous records related to post and tool database modifications.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nCertificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist.\n5+ years of practical working experience in the manufacturing / metal-cutting industry.\nStrong experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.\nNX and/or Mastercam experience preferred.\nRecent experience and knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and other CNC controls.\nStrong background with Microsoft Office products. (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)\nAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with engineering and other teams.\nMotivated self-starter.\nStrong attention to detail and a ‘can-do’ attitude.\nOverly detail oriented in all aspects of the job is an absolute must.\nExperience with simultaneous 5-axis machining and mill-turn style machines.\nAdvanced understanding of the CNC machining process.\nAdvanced understanding of materials(metals) and cutting tools.\nAdvanced understanding of macro programming.\nAdvanced understanding of how to process parts effectively to achieve the best surface finish and dimensional accuracy.\nFamiliarity with CNC probing routines and usage.\nUnderstanding of mathematics.\nInterpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part.\nMust have a thorough understanding of GD&T principles.\nSelect, align, and secure workholding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines.\nAdhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\n\nReady to be part of a team that pushes boundaries both on and off the track?
